Nothing like a winter tan.
Even though it is winter you still need your vitamin D, the vitamin you get from the sun. A lot of people that live in places where it is not as sunny have a vitamin D deficiency.Vitamin D deficiency is known to cause several bone softening diseases like rickets. So to keep from getting a deficiency, just spend a good 15 to 20 minutes outside.It can really improve you mood, and you can even get a little tan. A fast black horse and a bumpy ride.
Today, was the first equestrian team meet. I have never done this before and it was pretty nerve racking. I had to do team penning(Team penning is a western equestrian sport that evolved from the common ranch work of separating cattle into pens for branding, doctoring, or transport.) We don’t brand them we just get them in a pin and it has to be under a certian time. I have never done this a day in my life, and I have never really done cow work with this horse that is bouncing around under me.
The horse, Doc, normally is super calm and never freaks out and you have to be specific how you cue him, so I wasn’t really sure what to do. Then we had to run out which really made him want to run, so at this point I am trying to just stay on.
I have it again for the next two days, and it is going to be super busy tomorrow. I hope both my two horses do good. We have been working hard. Especially with the horse in the picture. He was abused for about 5 years of his life, then just thrown out in a pasture for another 5 years. He is now 17 and in a loving home, were he is fed well, and loved on every single day. I am so happy his owner lets me ride him and care for him.

If only there was one way to completely change your life…Oh, wait there is! Being positive can be really hard sometimes, especially when you have a headache, your fish died, and you just failed a class. It gets tough, but there is times when you do need to be mad and scream, it’s just finding that happy in between place. Being positive about who you are and what you do can change your whole life. If you are positive about yourself, and you have confidence, that's what people look for in employees. Wonder why your not getting that promotion? That could be why. People look for leaders, and what do leaders have? Confidence. So if you are feeling good, then you are doing good. So next time you are feeling like you are bad at something, your wrong, it’s your area of improvement. If you start thinking like that, and just practicing whatever area you need to improve in. You will be amazed at what you can do. So just give it a try!

Learn to see the little things and appreciate them. So before you go to bed say thank you out loud and think about all the good things that happened, big or small. Find a music that makes you pumped to have a great day, something that makes you smile and want to dance. Listen to that in the morning to get you started in a good way.

Hey Grumpy....(Tip of the Day)
How many hours of sleep do you get a night? Do you sleep in the days you can? and one last question, did you know that sleeping in can make you more tired in the long run? I know that most people like sleeping in, I am one of them, but when I do, I am more tired the rest of the day, the next day, and it feels like it carries into my week. The reason for this is because I have sleeping problems, but when you sleep in you mess up your sleeping schedule! So really, it can mess up your whole week of sleep. My tip of the day though is not about sleeping in, but getting enough sleep. When you get enough sleep you are happier, feel more awake, have more energy, and it can help you lose weight!!! The average adult should get about 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night, for teens who are still growing 14 hours is normally perfect. This does not work for everyone, because some people need more sleep, when some need less. So my tip of the day is go sleep off your baby fat!!! Want to learn more? Today, I woke up, realized that it was about 20 minutes before I had to leave. After rushing through my make up and attire. I went to school, got there just as the bell rang, so I had to meet up with my boyfriend before class to say hello, then run to the other side of our school. I get there just in time to sit down and open my bag. I was pretty impressed I made it.
After school, I went to the barn and rode my horse. Got done there, went home, and went for my run. I was pretty annoyed when I looked at the time of my run, 10 minute miles just are not going to cut it. So I thought that lifting weights and doing toning stuff would help. Now my body feels like jello and I am about ready for bed, even though it is only 8, and I still have homework.
I am one of those people who has a hard time mastering a skill, like I get the basics and then I find something new I want to try. It is good in some ways but at the same time it can get really annoying when I’m

always 3rd. So I found a new goal I want to work on Today, I found out that my school has a cooking team. Yes it’s a team, you can letter in it even. If that didn’t surprise you then this probably will, out of all the students in my school only 5 students can be on it. Only 5 spots on this team, and this teacher that is the “coach” is a hard ass. I think I will do good, I mean if I can handle being on to of a 1200 pound animal, I think I can mix ingredients. Right?

Dirty room? Clean it up with the tip of the day!
Ever wonder why you are running late all the time? Why you come home and feel overwhelmed? This one tip should fix those problems and other ones.
So do you find that your room, house, or living area is messy and unorganized? If it is, it can mess with your whole life believe it or not. When your room is messy you are running around stressing because you can’t find your other shoe or your keys, that can really hold you up when you need to leave in the next 5 minutes. So to fix that problem, take 10 minutes before you go to bed to pick up your room, it’s not that much time and you can get a lot done. If you don’t really like cleaning make it a game by setting a timer for 10 minutes and see how much you can pick up before the alarm goes off. Not only will it keep you motivated to get as much done as possible, it may make it a little more fun.

If you think it’s pointless to keep your room clean. Wrong again just cause you can walk over your clothes, doesn’t mean you want to, especially when you want to wear that shirt that is on the ground covered in dirt from your shoes. if your room is neat, your head is clear, because it’s just one thing that you don’t have to worry about it later.

You can be my Oko Ono.
Today, I woke, did my hair and make and left for school. I was greeted by my boyfriend and my friend in the morning. I started my new classes today. I am now taking math and Japanese, along with my other classes. Its going to be a busy half of the year. In my literature class we were listening to two different songs, one is called “You can be my Oko Ono” (by Barenaked Ladies) and the other is “Don’t want to be your Yoko Ono” (by Dar Williams). We talked about allusions and how poetry works more so. I was so surprised that theses songs could have so much meaning. It makes you really start to think about what your listening to. What is the whole point of your music? I never really thought about it, and when I did I wasn’t really sure what the songs were about, because they are so poetic. I think it’s so beautiful, but at the same time why couldn’t you just tell us what is on your mind? Did you really have to write a whole 4 minute song about a cow to tell us that you are sad that your girlfriend dumped you? Why couldn’t you just call her a few names then move on like normal person…but then again, what’s the fun in being normal?

OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Today, I realized you can help people on this thing, which gave me the best idea!!! I will start posting good things you can do to help yourself, the world, and the people around you. I hope that you enjoy my helpful tips to making your whole life better! I really hope that they help and you like them a lot!
Tip of the Day: Drink enough water! believe it or not, you probably are not drinking the right amount of water you should be. You should be drinking about 64 oz. of water a day. That is 8 glasses of 8 oz. cup, it sounds like a lot I know, but there is plenty of reason to drink this much water. For example, all your organs rely on water to function, water flushes out toxins, and it makes your skin better. Why wouldn’t you want to be healthier and more radiant? It even helps you lose weight!
If you don’t like drinking water that much, crystal light is pretty cheap and really yummy. Another thing that helps me, is I always carry a reusable plastic water bottle (they are like 8 bucks) and I just fill it up when I can, and sip on it all day.
WARNING!!! You can drink too much water…Yeah there is such a thing. So just stick to around 64 oz. a little under or a little over won’t hurt you, but if you feel like you need to throw up and you just gulped down a huge bottle of water, take it easy.

To who it may concern...
Today, I woke up, puked, went to the barn and rode my horse, came home home then left and walked around for about 2 hours by myself. In the beginning of the day it was not suppose to go like that. I was suppose to see my friend, and boyfriend. In the end though, my friend blew me off and my boyfriend was busy. If that didn’t make me feel pretty worthless, I get home and my mom said I didn’t clean the house good enough. If only I could do something right in someone’s eyes.
Don’t get me wrong here, I love my family and friends, but sometimes they put you down when you really wish someone would lift you up. I know that things could be a lot worse, and are a lot worse for some people, but I really wish that someone would see me struggling. You should not have to try to be happy, it should just come.

Like the other day, my grades were good, my boyfriend and I were not fighting, and at home was calm. Then a horse at my barn dies after 2 hours of me walking it to keep it from rolling, my dog was sick, and finals were a few days away.
